Hungary’s unique climate and growing regions provide high-quality sour cherries that are globally recognized. The fruit of Hungarian sour cherry varieties is significantly larger than that of most varieties cultivated worldwide, resulting in a compote with a more visually appealing and attractive appearance. The favorable sugar/acid ratio gives the product a special, pleasant taste.
Production uses ripe, carefully selected, GMO-free domestic raw materials, which are processed immediately after harvest to preserve the fruit’s natural flavor, freshness, nutritional content, and color.
The product is preserved via heat treatment and contains no artificial additives.
Sour cherries are naturally rich in antioxidants, especially anthocyanins, which support cardiovascular health and have anti-inflammatory effects. They are also a valuable source of vitamins and minerals, including Vitamin C, potassium, magnesium, calcium, and iron.
