History

Our story began in the early nineties when the owners recognized a great demand abroad for high-quality fruit and vegetable products grown in Hungary. Initially, we exclusively supplied canned fruits and vegetables to Russia. Due to the fluctuations and uncertainties of the Russian market, we gradually expanded our customer base in Europe.

We started exporting fresh fruits and vegetables in 2000. We were the first to ship fresh sour cherries to Russia, which became so successful and sought after within a few years that for 10 years it became Hungary’s most in-demand fruit, boosting the entire sector and providing reliable income to producers. In a short time, we were directly supplying fresh Hungarian vegetables and fruits to the largest Russian retail chains. Unfortunately, this opportunity ceased in 2014 due to the imposed trade embargo, causing a significant setback for Hungarian horticulture.

We were able to compensate for the market loss caused by the Russian embargo a few years later with processed—canned and frozen—products. We strengthened our cooperation with processors in terms of raw material supply, enabling us to offer our customers larger quantities of processed fruit and vegetable products made from controlled raw materials at more favorable prices.

We are proud that in the time since, we have succeeded in introducing fresh and preserved Hungarian fruit and vegetable products in new territories and continents. The satisfaction of our new customers is shown by the fact that they re-order and seek out our products.

Our long-term goal is to deliver healthy and great-tasting food, vegetables, and fruits to as many people as possible on Earth, because everyone has the right to sufficient and high-quality food that is not only nourishing but brings joy to both body and soul.
